I have completed Bcom with 47%. Where can I apply for jobs in Banking and finance sector?

I have also completed NCFM certification for Insurance and Retirement planning modules. Where and how can I apply for jobs? Please suggest

Hey Dear,


Don't be disheartened with the marks you have scored in your graduation as you have really taken a good step forward in your career by doing the NCFM certification.

You seemed to be determined to go for a job but as you have done certification in Insurance and Retirement Plan you can use it as an advantage and look for jobs in this area only.

There are many insurance companies in India most of which are private run organizations where you can apply as an employee. Many companies that have an option of becoming an Insurance Agent as well. For this they will give you a 15-20 days Training for the same and then you will have to sit for an entrance exam and it is mandatory to qualify the exam to become their agent. But once you qualify the exam and become an agent you can work independent and receive commission for your work. You will be given targets by the company that you will have to meet and fulfill on time as well.

So the choice is yours......
Apart from this area there are many other sectors you can apply but to be frank you marks will always be an issue but if you gain some experience in the industry you are working and have a good hands - on Knowledge for the same then there is no one to stop you from drawing a good and a handsome salary but remember that initially getting a good salary will be a trouble but i would suggest you to be least bothered about it and just concentrate on your work and on gaining as much knowledge as possible.

If possible do some Masters course as well and try and score good marks in it as it will be of added advantage for you as well.
