Hello There! Looking at your career confusion, at the beginning itself, I would like to make it clear that you need not be worried and tensed since such confusion is very common and also very right, considering the plenty of career options in the market.

I am an Educationist and have been into career counselling for more than seven years for students from commerce / management / law / engineering streams. I am also into teaching and have been writing articles on various topics including career management in reputed newspapers and magazines across India.

Considering that you have secured fifty percent in your BCom degree, you definitely have ample of career options before you.

However, before deciding on your appropriate career option, it is very necessary to know for your self which career option will best suit according to what best qualities you have. It is very important dear to know about one's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for being successful in life and career. Since these are things if ignored, will not make one successful or stable in life and career. Anything which you choose which is out of your competence and ability, it is very likely that you will fail and be unsuccessful.

Here therefore I would recommend that you under go a psychometric test through CareerGuide.com which will tell you exactly what you are good at and what will be the career option best suited to you.

As a BCom graduate, you can think of courses like Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship, Cost Accountancy, Law, Hotel Management, Event Management, Film Direction, Defence, etc. The first three courses mentioned are professional courses which have been and shall always be in demand, however these studies require good amount of hard work and patience and determination.

for a secured and reputed job, you need to find and choose a career which you would love to work in without any single instance of frustration, depression or monotony. Therefore a career which is done through full passion, liking, determination gets successful.

Psychometric test can be done by your self at your home and the results are instant. Then you may approach a counsellor here who will through a one to one counselling session will recommend you the apt and right suited course and career for you.

Best Luck.
