I have completed my M.A(English) with 53% and my B.ED with distinction. Because of my less scores in M.A I could not apply for the NET exam this year. Therefore I planned to do my M.ED but a professor told me it would be useless as i had not scored 55%

Hello Savio,

Yes. absolutely right. Since you have scored less than 55% in MA you are not eligible for NET exam.

But for pursuing M.ED, your score of distinction is one of the eligibility criteria apart from masters degree.

Contact the nearest University.

In-case if you looking for the Associate professor and keen on the said position, I would suggest, contact your University from where you did your masters and apply for appearing only for the 2nd year exam, but as a part of the University student program.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck.............
