I have completed my masters in Finance in 2014. After 3 years of working experience, I have realized that my passion is into counselling. So I'm planning to pursue some degree course in psychology, but I'm confused whether to go regular or distance one?

You can enrol for a MA(Psychology) through distance educatiobn, but it needs you to do eight practical projects in institutions to get the final degree.

There are specific counsellimg courses available, which do not insist on a psychology background

1. MS (Psychotherapy & Counselling) from Institute for Behavioral & Management Sciences, Mumbai. Visit http://www.ibmsglobal.org/course.php

2. Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy by David Lincoln of Wisdomtreesolutions

These courses are all a combination of distance education and practical work.
