Here are some job search tips.

1. Well made professional resume. Your resume is the first impression to the employer. So, it should be well made.

2. Make a profile on job portals ,upload resume, keep applying to multiple jobs. And keep a regular check.
Portals like naukri.com, monsterindia.com. timesjob.com etc

3. Read newspaper classified. Apply to them. Every indian newspaper carries a section of job vacancies. Also,they have their own websites, where you can have access to a widened job search

4. Never only look for brand and big companies. You can start from a small company to gain experience and learn.

5. Apply to companies directly onto there websites career section.

6. Be prepared for interview.Practice and improve your interviewing techniques. Work on your body language, accent, postures etc You should know your studied subject thoroughly.

7.Social networking today is good way to find jobs. Be in touch with the people of same fields. Make profile on Linkden, Facebook, Twitter to be connected with people and friends.

Have patience and self confidence.
