Dear Dr.
Congratulations for qualifying as a Dentist. I am sure that Dentistry as a career has an immense scope and the domain has been also developing in research. I see that there is growing demand for dentists all over right from age two children to senior citizens.
MBA Hospital Management is not right for you right now. Hope you would like to be a practising dentist by either working in a hospital/dental clinic or having your own dental clinic.
MBA Hospital Management is a non-medical course which makes you aware about the administration part of a hospital. Are you wanting to work in a non medical domain inspite of being a dentist?
MBA Hospital Management can be pursued only when you wish to get employed in a big hospital however the degree should be taken only after some years of experience in core domain of dentistry. Doing MBA right now will entirely divert your career path.
Instead if possible, you can aim for MDS and specialise.
Best wishes
Hi Rajib.. MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management is a good option for anyone from medical field. You can work as manager in hospital and related institutions after this course. It is beneficial anyway. Best institutes to pursue this course include GEMS institute, Lovely Professional University, Christ university etc. You can also get placement in good companies/firms if you are pursuing your course from these institutes
In order to post replies to the question: "I have done bds ,after this i am thinking of pursueing MBA in hospital management,,is it good beneficial ,?guide me please"
