After Mass Communication, going for Library Science is an out of world thought. I don't find any gain in doing Library Science after having done Masters in Mass Communication.
Mass Communication is a very good career course you have done and it has a good scope in the market. I feel, that after having done Mass Communication, doing Library Science would land you in a very different field.
There are not too many job options in Library Science compared to Mass Communication.
I think someone has misguided you or you have been too much thinking.
The first priority should be to find a job based on Mass Communication, which I am sure that you will get if you are really masters in MC.
