Hi,

Greetings of the day!!!

A Bank is a financial Conglomerate where you would have lot of different kinds of work. A Banking business is like a tree where every part has its different task for overall growth of the bank.

It depends on the the department of the banks which you work for to decide whether as a banker you would be confined to cubical or office space itself.

Banking jobs can be broadly defined in three categories

Front office jobs : This are the jobs where you would work for client requirement and you would have to face clients and would have to travel to various places for generating business.

Mid Office Jobs : This is more of the support role where Risk and other things are taken care of the task is to be in touch with internal team and provide them support wherever necessary. in this profile you would have limited access to client side

Back office Jobs : This as the name suggest would be a support role and this people would work on back end to support and make the front end work smoother way

Bank Officer

So its based on the profile for which you are working with the bank.

For the second part of your question it totally depend on you in case you are not enjoying a job given to you you would feel bored no matter wherever you are with people around you or not. Thus if you are a person who work on data and like to stay with the job whether in cabin or not.

I hope your query is resolved

Dear Aspirant,

Job in every sector is peculiar and different and has its own merits and demerits.

Bank Officer who is involved in banking operations and treasury management majorly deals with money. This money comes from depositors. Depositors walk into a bank or electronically transfer money in and out of bank accounts. Banking is highly customer centric and therefore it is natural that a Bank Officer comes into contact and conversation with depositors when they visit the bank branch offices.

Bank Officers are definitely confined to indoors which is required and demand of that job. Its not at all boring if you have right skill sets and attitude to do that job.

Best wishes
