This is not true that the marketing managers are only confined to the office spaces as they get plenty of opportunities to go out and enjoy as well. Below are the various points that will help you understand how this happens:

  1. The marketing managers have to meet their clients quite often and for that they have to visit the client site. Therefore they need to travel to the client's location. People who are in this profession get a number of opportunities to travel and therefore travel a lot. In fact the marketing jobs are best known for the kind of travel opportunities that they provide.

    2. The marketing managers have to run the marketing campaigns which is an important part of their work. These marketing campaigns are usually run outdoors and require them to go outside and plan the campaign only after they are aware about the outside scenario. They cannot take these decisions while sitting in their cabins. even during the campaigns they have to keep a check on its progress and therefore they go outside as much as possible.

    3. The marketing campaigns are sometimes run on television, radio and other media channels. In such cases the marketing managers have to contact the suitable media agencies and visit their offices from time to time. They have to arrange the meetings with the media agency persons and explain them about the requirements. Thus they have to spend a lot of time while working with the media agency team in order to complete the project. That again gives them the opportunity to go out of the office premises and enjoy the work beyond their desks.

    4. Quite often the marketing managers take their team to outside for parties and celebrations. The marketing world is known for the kind of celebrations they do on every occasion. This is specially true on completion of the project or finishing a major milestone. Thus they get the chance to enjoy the life beyond their day to day work and having fun with their team members.
