I do not think for doing business it will be any problem for you in future. Though for calculation and analysis mathematics is helpful for you but it would not be a obstacle for you to do any multi national business in future. You should complete your studies for starting any business.

It will be really helpful to you if you choose maths but no problem in selecting IT also as it will also help you in many ways.
As now is era of computers and all MNC's mostly depends on softwares and technology for running their business. so no need to take that much tension if you are not interested to take maths. If it is affecting your scores in exams than also it is a better choice to go for IT and score good and start your business. Hope this clarifies your query

Hello

Thank you for choosing Meracareerguide and writing to us. I appreciate your idea in being an entrepreneur, running a business at multi national level. Your ambition is obviously high and it therefore it does require you to get prepared to that level right? Performing a multi level national business could be on any field. On what field/ industry do you wnat to focus on? Selling any products across national border that is beyond Indian border, and as well having branches in many countries is known as multi level national business. Lots of people mistake that only Information technology business is multi national but it is a myth. The fact is that any product that is being sold in multiple countries and also have working offices in multiple countries is known as multinational level business.
So this requires to ask yourself, what you want to manufacture as a company? Are you willing to make software and sell across nations? Or are you willing to make leather goods or entertainment gadgets or consumer goods? This needs to be clear from your mind. I deeply appreciate your thought of doing a business but this also makes you to clarify on what you want to do right? For example, if you are to do multinational business in stocks, maths is necessary. If you are going to start a business that involves investment banking then maths is highly necessary. But if you are going to manufacture software products, hardware products, consumer goods then maths is not highly necessary although understanding maths will be highly sufficient.

As you have taken IT at your school level, I believe you want to do a business in the same area. Then in this case, maths may not be fundamental but understanding business and entrepreneurial business is fundamental. So I advice you to take a course that is into Information technology at Bachelors level like the BTech/ BSc Information technology at college level. You may then study MBA Entrepreneurship and this will support you very much for you to start up your own business. The first thing that strikes my mind for an entrepreneurship MBA is Symbiosis institute of entrepreneurship and management. They are well known in India and is also ranked number one for entrepreneurship. I advice you to complete your BSc/ BTech, spend at least two years in working at a company or at a start up to understand if you are manufacturing the right product and also a desirable, competitive product. Moreover when you start working, you will understand how the IT world really functions. This will also shape up your business ideas and also give opportunities for networking. Working in a company for at least two years will help you understand where you want to approach while marketing your products. You can also get to meet many high authorities while you are working and all this will prove beneficial to you. After two years, do an MBA Entrepreneurship and then start your own business. This is an ideal advice and if you move as per this, I am sure you will rock. All the best.
