Hello!

Thank you for choosing CareerGuide and writing to us. I would straight away tell you, choose any subject that requires you to write. And yes, the first subject I would suggest for you is English. I am very glad for you as you have found your interests by this time where in most of the students still struggle to find where their interest lies actually.

To be successful in career, strong passion for the subject, determination to succeed, the required dedication and hard work are highly essential. As of now your strong passion for English, which gives you lot of opportunity to be able to write is the foundation. It is up to you to develop. I would certainly give you two options to choose from. I would advice you to take either BA English or BA English literature. The two subjects does' nt differ much other than the BA English literature syllabus giving more importance to the literature around the world than English as a subject of study. If you are interested in writing jobs like communication expert, journalist, Editorial jobs then BA English honors is definitely apt for you.

On the other hand, if you wanted to read and write poems with more relation to literature, if you wanted to explore anthologies of people around the world in literature format, then BA English literature is right for you. This course develops you more on literature ground works but the English honors degree gives less emphasis on literature, and that's the difference.

Alternatively, there are students who also love to combine Business studies and English together. They choose to study BBA degree and as the electives, prefer taking Business communications and Corporate communications as their main choice. You may also consider this route but it is totally up to you. Completing this degree, you can work for corporate MNC's at their communication department, taking care of their website content, magazines, internal newsletters and external newsletters. However you can also work in Corporate MNC with a BA English honors degree but some students also prefer understanding the concept of business along with English language. If you have a similar view, you can certainly go for it.

And finally yes, with your 66% BA English degree is absolutely possible. You may also consider the other suggested degrees in here but I find English more apt to you as you are already inclined with love on this subject. All the best with admissions. Good luck for your future.
