Yes. Few uiversity accept any graduate to opt for a course in Psychology. So there you stand eligible. As a clinical or counseling psychologist you could find jobs in hospitals or polyclinics under a psychiatrist, in schools or private firms. Can open your own centre too. As an Industrial psychologist you could find employment in corporates mainly in the HR department mainly involved in conducting test for recruitment and training.
But I am not convinced for your reason to opt for psychology. The earning part.
Firstly, please note that as a Psychologist, your starting salary would be around 10K itself. Even after promotion lets say in 5 years time, you at the max will stand somewhere between 15 to 18k. That too if you join the best to best institute. Whereas being a physiotherapist, with few years of experience and if you are working in a hospital and can join in as a consultant in few clinics, you will earn much much more. Also over a period of time you can begin your own clinic and earn well.
Please note do not choose a career based on the earnings. Though earning is an integral part of ones career. But if the profession is not in sync with ones liking, interest and aptitude then how much ever effort one puts in the job would be performed unsuccesfully. Hence choose on the lines of your ability and interest, money would follow.
