Its good that you are concerned about your career and that's why you are seeking career counselling.

There are few simple trick to be followed to achieve a Good Career:

1. Find out your Hobbies and make it as your career field.:
There are various fields like Computers, Administration, Photography, Marketing, Fashion Design, Interior Designing. Technical Fields like Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunication and so on.
So try to understand what you like to do. and start your career in that field.

2. Try to understand the scope of the field of your interest:
Sometimes. it might be possible that you have interest in any particular thing. however, there is no enough scope of it in industries. So there wont be much growth potential associated with it.
So you also need to check scope of the field. The fields like Human Resource, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, Media, Teaching, Public Relations, Petroleum Engineering has very good scope in the market along with associated growth.

3. Get yourself Certified:
Now you have identified your hobbies or interest. Even check the scope of particular field. So you are ready to go ahead.But now a days there is always a competition in each of the field.
so to get yourself updated with the "Industry Requirements" you must pursue some of the Certification Courses or Diploma Courses into a field of your interest.

These Certification courses or Diploma Courses are short term courses of duration 3 - 6 months. So on Course completion you will be awarded with Course Completion Certificate which will add value to your Job Profile (Resume) and you will also achieve some expertism in particular field.

As the time passes by and with your Work Experience, you can then Plan Master's of Particular Field (For Eg. Post Graduate Diploma or MBA in Human Resource Management or MBA in Finance Management ) as these will help you to get higher package from the industries.

Note: As "Education is an Continuous Process" one must keep him / herself updated all the time with current industry requirements. Attending Seminars, Doing Short Term Courses, Taking active part in Social Activities will improve your presence in Corporate Sector.
