Dear Aspirant,

I am very happy to see your thought process and the urge to excel and get qualified too.

MBA Executive would be ideal for you if you can spend some time for evening / weekend batches in a good BSchool. MBA Executive is typically a part time classroom oriented course of generally three years. Doing classroom sessions is recommended since that will also help you increase your network of people which his beneficial in the short and long term.

Correspondence is fine, but if you can devote 3 hours for classes everyday or full days in weekends for attending classes, then MBA Executive is best suited and suggested. Correspondence has its own limitations.

Best wishes

The competitive world has been demanding a lot new set of skills, knowledge and learnings from the professionals and so it has become necessary for the professionals to upgrade their knowledge with the learning of the courses related to their field.

Definetely just having an BBA degree won't take you long in the Mangamenet Career Journey, one needs to have an Masters Degree in the Management i.e MBA .

Before answering your query i have some of the questions for you to ponder on-

1.Why you wish to go for Executive MBA?

2.DO you want to continue your job while learning MBA?

3.What kind of learning you would like for MBA a Regular mode or Distance/Executive MBA?

When we talk about pursuing an MBA or if someone is planning to pursue an MBA , its always advisable to go for an Regular MBA rather than going for Distance or Executive MBA.

A regular MBA is always helpful for one to learn and unlearn the things. Whereas it gives an exposure to both the theories and practical and also one learns new things.

An Executive/Distance MBA is helpful for the Businessmen or working professionals to upgrade their knowledge. This kind of MBA degree is useful only for the promotion purpose in the company.

An Executive MBA is considered to be an Distance education wherein you have an weekend classes or alternate weekdays classes,it also includes presentations, assignements etc.

In order to be eligible for the Executive MBA you should have completed your Graduation with 50%; you should have an 3 years of work experience or managerial work experience. You need to give an entrance exam and personal interview.

Following are some of the Institutes that offers Executive MBA-

1.IGNOU

2.Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.

3.Narsee Moonjee Institute of Management Studies.

I hope you find this answer relevant to your career query.
