Hi Vikas,

In this era of globalization any foreign language would be beneficial for one’s career and as you said you are a mechanical engineering student then German language is the best suited for you because most of the topmost organizations for mechanical candidates are in Germany and they also have lots of good universities for doing MS in mechanical engineering. One needs to know the German language in order to work and study in Germany. If you are thinking for learning German that means you are in the right direction as it will make you eligible for study / work in Germany.

Search for your nearby foreign language teaching centres, if they teach German then enrol for the course.  For getting admission in German universities you need to clear minimum B2 or B1 level in German Language.

Hope this will help..

Dear Aspirant,

I agree with Mr. Rizvi.

Learning foreign language is definitely a good value add to the resume.

If you can manage your mechanical engineering studies well, I would suggest you to learn German from Max Mueller Bhavan. Max Meuller is recognised teaching centre in India and you can find out the centre in your city/state. Max Meuller Bhavan is in Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai.

If not, find a good German tutor or classes. This would also be fine. The classes are usually six months to one year.

German language will definitely help you for jobs in manufacturing in Germany or if you join IT industry too. However more focus towards your mechanical engineering.

Best wishes

I think the German language is not mandatory, but if you speak German it will be your advantage. As well as an advantage in learning, if you use reliable resources https://www.sopservices.net/ to help students. This will only improve your skills and you will be able to succeed faster.
