Hello Piyush,

As B.Tech is a professional course, so doing, it will definitely get you a job. Getting a job definitely depends on the course, one does, but it also depends on one’s calibre. Experience also matters a lot when you are looking for a job, the more experience you have, the better you will be paid on the job. The specialization that you has done your B.Tech in, also matters a lot, for example, demand for software engineers is a lot in the market so the more the demand the more the jobs. But always remember that never go by the demand of the subject as it keeps on changing rather one should go for a subject according to the interest. You will be more satisfied with your work if you are interested in the same.

Most colleges offer campus placements so you can sit for them or if the college does not offer campus placement, then you will have to look for jobs on your own. It is not much difficult to look for a job, but all that depends on the person’s knowledge and one’s calibre the more the subject knowledge, the better it will be for you. You can also apply for a government job. There are certain criteria that you need to fulfil before getting the job. There are a whole lot of vacancies in the government sector in which you can apply according to the specialization that you have. You can look at the employment news for the vacancies for engineers in the various sectors and apply for the same. Before applying you should check the eligibility criteria for the post you are applying and see if you fulfil all the necessary requirements or not.

Dear Aspirant,

Jobs are available for the right candidates.

Therefore the most important thing for you while doing BTech is to get as much as domain expert as possible and also build up your other skills like communication, attitude, personality, leadership, team spirit, problem solving, etc. These skills are a must to get a good job after BTech.

Chances of getting a job are many if you keep yourself open minded without any reservations in mind about company. What important is the job profile you are offered.

You should also register yourself on top job portals like Timesjobs.com, Shine.com, Naukri.com and upload your resume with all the necessary details.

Best wishes

You better think for no other options but pursue BTECH program beause it is extaordinarily favoured undergrduate program in India which allows you get into the corridore of engineering field

As an editor from diploma assignments if you are wondering what to go after once you have done BTECH program then you have so many other option to choose Aerospace Robotic Engineering etc.
