I need details in much depth so I can weigh my issues

Are there any post graduate diploma courses in automobile? Are they job oriented? Do they involve campus recruitment? What are my chances of getting a job after doing such a course?

Automobile engineering is a good career option today. but the problem with the current industry structure is a bit confusing. due to the climbing price of the auto fuel, common man has started rethinking. You could choose a career in the automobile field if you have the courage to wait at least for another three years or so. The stagnation in the auto sector could ease off by then. Post graduate diploma courses in India is not that lucrative compared to M E or M Tech. The automobile companies are on the look out for able and knowledgeable young post graduates in automobile sector. More over, there are plenty of people out there with the ME or MTech Automobile Engineering course. Therefore choosing post graduate engineering in automobile engineering may not be the right course for your career. If you want to pursue a career in automobile engineering, you can choose ME or MTech instead of PG Diploma.

Yes there are Post Graduate Diploma Courses available into a Field of "Automobile engineering" which you can apply on the basis of your graduation degree.

Eligibility Criteria:

Note: the course you are looking out for is a "Post Graduate Diploma in Automobile Engineering" which is a technical course, so while sleceting any of the college for your further studies, do cross check whether the college or Institute has AICTE (All India council of Technical Education) approvals. As the courses without AICTE approval doens't hold weighatge into a industries and many of the employees (companies) will not consider your certified qualified for the post graduate job openings.
