Dear Aspirant,

For appearing for PO exams you need to be first class graduate in any field excluding fine arts. Also you need to be first class through out from 10th to graduation in every year.

I would suggest you to join bank PO preparation coaching classes. They will guide you properly and make you practice and make you confident to appear and clear the exam. This is a very competitive exam with lakhs of people appearing for few posts all over India.

Your Commerce graduation knowledge wil be of good help here to clear the exam.

Banking sector is one of the widely growing career and also a promising career. With the change in the old Banking system and introduction of technology in the banking field this has given a room for great career opportunities in the Banking Sector. Its expected that the Banking Sector will be growing at faster pace than any other sector in the country requiring a skilled and tech savvy Human Resource.

In order to make a career in the Banking Sector one have two options to make a career in this field-
1.After 12th from any stream one can give IBPS Bank Clerk Exam. These exams are conducted for the students aspiring to work as a clerk.
2.After completing graduation from any stream one can give IBPS BANK PO exams these are the exams conducted for the candidates who are aspiring to make a career as an Officer.

The IBPS BANk exams are conducted for the Government Banking Sector. If one wish to make a career in Private Banking sector than one needs to appear for their exams separately.

Answering your question you can start preparation for the BANK PO exam you can start from last year of your graduation i.e at 3rd year of TY B.com.

While i would advise you to join a proper coaching that prepares studnets for the Bank Exams very well for written exam and interview.
While solve the previous years examination papers. The previous exam papers are easily available online you can download and solve them.

See which of the topics you are good at and concentrate on those and make sure they are perfect so that you dont loose marks in those topics and practise for the topics which you find difficult. Develope Startegies for solving paper and concentrate on Time Management.
