Dear Friend,

It is good that you are planing your career in such a way that it gives you best out of you.

Well, in order to get an admission in any of the foreign universities there are few fixed criteria.

It is true that until and unless you don't have all the mark sheets in your hand you can not apply for your further studies because you do not have any proof that you have completed that particular course. In order to make the universities understand your potentials and capabilities it is very much needed that you provide them all the relevant documents related to your studies. Based on your marks and over all achievement only, the universities provide scholarships and not otherwise.

If you are expecting a final year or final semester result, than you may apply for further studies because you are expecting a result to come and based on that the universities can give you a temporary admission to the course you applied, and if you pass your final year, they confirm your seat and if you fail they cancel your seat.

Again, if you pass all the year and if you apply, you only get a temporary admission only, when you submit the transcript from the current university where you are studying, then only the foreign universities will confirm your seat. In order to get the confirm seat in any of the universities they have few set rules and regulations which every body have to complete and specially for the foreigners, even the fees for the foreigners are different from the local students for the same course.

So I would suggest you that you hold the process for now and try to get good marks in the remaining semester so that the chances of getting scholarships gets even stronger. you still have almost one year to prepare yourself to get a good marks and to make all the efforts worth in order to get the scholarship.

I wish you all the very best and good luck for your future and I wish you do well and you get an admission as well as scholarship in a desired university.

Thanks
Ravi

Hello

Nice to hear from you back. You can still apply for a September 2015 intake and definitely start applying for UK Universities from November with whatever documents you have in hand. Let me explain you the process.

Universities require the following documents to decide whether or not you should be given a place of study with them.
  1. 10th mark sheets scanned (PDF format)
  2. 12th mark sheets scanned (PDF format)
  3. Bachelors degree semester wise mark sheets scanned and uploaded in a PDF format.
  4. Passport page scanned copy in PDF format or at least a passport number.

These four documents are considered as mandatory materials to be uploaded when you submit your application on line for each university. I understand you will have two semesters pending while applying for 2015 September intake. In this case, you can upload the pending two semester mark sheets as soon as you get them in January or May 2015. So there is absolutely no problem with this.

Universities will see your aggregate in 10th, 12th and in each semester of your BSc until four semesters. Plus they will also calculate your aggregate overall for the BSc until four semesters. As you have achieved 82.3% overall until four sem, this is more than enough for the university to get convinced with your application. In principle, you have three documents pending right? They are the fifth sem mark sheet, sixth sem mark sheet and the IELTS score. Without these documents they can still offer you a place and this type of offer is known as conditional offer. Conditional offer means you are given an offer on certain conditions that you will be guaranteed a place to study with them and they are waiting for your final documents to fully approve you study with them. Conditional offer means you are 90% approved to study at the university. Once you submit the pending documents, then this conditional offer will turn unconditional offer and now you are free to join the university without any conditions. To apply for a visa you need unconditional offer from the university before 15 July. Once you submit all these pending documents even in May or June 2015, you will get unconditional offer by June mid. So after June mid, you can any time apply for your student visa.

You are also eligible for applying for scholarships with only four sem mark sheets. I was in your same situation, when I first went to study in the UK for my masters in September 2009. I had pending documents and I was still offered an admission and scholarship, and later when I submitted all the documents my admission and scholarship were confirmed.

So be happy and energetically start applying for universities from November 2014. The sooner you apply, the better chances you have to secure both admission and scholarship. My best wishes to your applications. If you require further advice, I am happy to help. Good luck.
