Going to such a noble profession of teaching it's a great thing. It's a wonderful way to serve the country and share your knowledge with the world. You will have to match following criteria in order to become a professor of Architect:

1. You need to have a Ph.D. in order to become a professor. If not Ph.D. at least you should have a Masters degree so that you can start your career as an Assistant professor or Lecturer.

2. You must be willing to do academic research so that you can reach good heights in this career.

3. You need to have a commitment to stick to the academics in order to establish yourself as a professor. If you do not have a Ph.D. you will have to get it sooner or later. Otherwise there will be a huge barrier in your career growth.

4. You need to maintain high grades during your school/college years. Generally people with good acedemic records are preferred for the roles of professor.

5. The skill set requirement of this job is huge. From a good learner to a good speaker and an excellent communicator and researcher. Teaching is one job which covers so many skills. It's going to be challenging. Work a lot on your presentation skills. How you connect with your students, that's the most important thing.

6. If you have some experience as a teacher, probably at school or some college, it will add to your benefit while getting the job of a professor.

Wish you all the best for a great career journey in teaching.
