Hi Aryan,

Why do you want to change the board now ,you haven't mentioned. You have already cleared your 12th so move on.You can go ahead with the career of your choice. But your % is not very interesting. You can get enrolled for computer engineering ,but with heavy donation.Or else you can move ahead with your graduation in the desired field. There are so many options available these days.

Still i will give you the information regarding the field you have asked for.
Computer Science /Computer Engineering /IT are the most sought after in India,so it is not surprising that this branch is leading. This branch offers higher pay packages than any other branch as well as ample overseas job opportunities. If you have an interest in database management and application development, you should seek out this engineering discipline.

Computer engineering involves designing and testing of computer components. It is a branch of Engineering which studies elements from both electrical engineering and computer science angles, combining the principle and techniques of these two for the making and development of computer and computer based systems.Professionals who work with computer hardware and software are termed as computer engineers.

Starting salaries as a fresh computer engineer from a good institute can range between Rs.4.5 Lakh to Rs.6 Lakh. You will start as trainees or development engineers and move on to designations like design engineer, project manager and eventually CTO.As you move up the management ranks your pay can go up from Rs.20 Lakh to Rs.30 Lakh per annum.

Some of the companies that hire CSE engineers include Microsoft,Google,Yahoo,Amazone,IBM,Facebook,Oracle,Cisco,Infosys,TCS and wipro.

Best institutes apart from the IIT's and NIT's include IT.BHU,Indian school of Mine University Dhanbad ,Indian Institute of Information Technology-Hydrabad, BITS Pilani.

Computers are slowly becoming a quint essential aspect which can be found every where ie in car engines, watches, microwave ovens, telephones, videogames, X-ray machines, ATM's, touching every facet of our lives.Due to the rapid growth of information technology, computer industry, has become one of the fastest growing segment of our economy.

As a result there exists a huge demand for computer engineering professionals for the development of faster hardware components, new communication systems and software.

I hope the above information will help you in understanding every thing about the subject.

ALL THE BEST !!!!!!!!

Hello My Dear Aryan,

Your name Aryan made me remember the movie Mohabbattein of SRK and Aishwarya Rai. SRK was Raj Aryan. He was expelled from the school by Amitabh Bacchhan due to in discipline. Still Raj Aryan managed his life, moved on and came back to the same school as a successful person to make him realise that nothing stops the world from moving on.

My Dear Aryan Gupta, the same is for you. 57% is low compared to the percentage students score, but that does not definitely mean that the world is over and you cannot make a career or get successful.

As mentioned earlier, there is no need to lose heart by scoring 57%. There are many career options available for everybody, however the only important thing one should always remember is that everyone is made distinct and that distinctness can actually make one's career and success.

There is no need to change the board and again waste time, energy, money in reappearing and hoping for good marks.

I would strongly recommend you to get your self assessed through a psychometric test. I am recommending this psychometric test since this is the only test which will tell you what are those exact dinstinct features, capabilities, abilities, passion, interests, likings you have which can make you successful and help you choose a relevant course or career path. Knowing all the above is very important since without this if you choose your career, you are sure to get unsuccessful or remain unsatisfied or get frustrated due to the wrong choice made.

Psychometric test is available on CareerGuide.com and you can do it your self at your home and the results are instant.

Best Luck
