The career you have thought about is something different and creative.

Before i list down Institutes that provides the courses, few things you need to keep in mind are:
  • Firstly this kind of a job profile, notcompulsorilyrequires training.
  • It completely depends on the persons traits and being an extrovert without any inhibitions or stage fright
  • Requires contacts for a better opportunity
  • Command over language and knowledge of various languages
  • Information and forming conclusions on any topic that one can think of.

If you have the above mentioned qualities, just go and apply to any particular media firm and get into the job.

There are many radio channels also that give opportunities to talented individuals and they also have courses provided to the deserving candidates.

Apart from radios, if you are looking out for a news channel reporter or stage show artists, then the qualification one needs is BMM, Mass-media qualified.

Currently since I am unaware of your qualifications, I am speaking of a general trend. For pursuing BMM after 12th, any stream, one has to clear an entrance exam and then it is a 3 years course.
Though they have no specialization called Anchoring, but through the field of Journalism, one can work as an Anchor too.

If you are a graduate, then you could opt for a post-graduation degree in Journalism, for which you would have to clear an entrance exam.

Other than that, there are a lot of private media institutes which provides you with short term courses in Acting, Photography, Anchoring and so on.
These are generally for around 2 to 6 months.

But the only criteria, you need to check with these institutes is the Guarantee for placements.
