As far as I know, to study BA in psychology one does not have to appear for an entrance exam. It is merit based.
Any leading university, like Delhi university, bangalore university, christ university, sndt, mumbai university etc offers this 3 years course after 12th.
Please note pursuing a masters degree is a must to function as a counselor or therapist. You could even pursue Pg Diploma in Guidance and Counseling if not interested in regular MA degree.
