Hello My Dear....

Getting blank has become common and the reason is too many career options and too many advices and guidances provided from all over. I must compliment you that you decided to approach CareerGuide.com for seeking an informed guidance and I am happy that experts are here to guide you. Ms. Halima Sadiya has definitely given you vital pieces of guidance in an excellent way. However I would like to put forth my perspective for your career query..

In your query, you have not mentioned clearly which stream of HSC you are in? Whether in commerce/science or arts? If you could have mentioned that then I would have been able to pin point exactly what you can do probably. However please let us kow which stream you belong to.

My Dear, what I would suggest you is to take a psychomteric test from CareerGuide.com. This test enables a person to know his / her capabilities, abilities, passion, interests, likings, abilities, capabilities, personality. Knowing all these aspects through a proven and successful method of psychometric assessment is very very important since any one who chooses his / her career based on all those aspects gets succcessful definitely and there is not need to look back or turn back for those candidates.

Hope you remember the 3 Idiots movie of Aamir Khan which exactly suggests this route to career success.

So please do get blank anymore and do not worry. As mentioned earlier, this is a common thing and you need to feel the only one to have such blankness and confusion.

Try to assess and introspect your inner voice and do what your heart tell you to do. However having seriousness, sincereity, determination, dedication, consistency is a must in any career option you choose.

Best Luck Dear...

Hello

I can understand your concern about choosing the right career tailored for you and your own future. While it is wise to see what careers are popular and well established, it is even more essential to identify what particular subject is actually suitable for you. To identify this, we often advice students to undergo a psychometric assessment from this website. This test will help you to identify your strengths, weakness, interests, and most importantly your type of personality. Accordingly you can understand what types of subjects and related career routes are the most suitable for you. I am sure this test will prove useful to help you target towards the suitable career path that is made for you.

Apart from this it is essential for us to know what subjects you studied as part of your HSC level. Knowing the subjects you have studied, I could better advice you on the suitable career choices for you. However I can give you some generalised advice on how to choose your career path. Completing 12th level, you should always think of your ideal/ dream job. So you can begin with your favourite subject? Think of what subject you liked the most and also scored high until school level. So with this idea, you can develop your career line? For example if you liked English and it was the subject that fetched you high scores, you can explore what are the courses available in English at college degree level. Now try understanding the degree options on this stream. So this explains you will understand that you can study BA English, Journalism, Mass communication, Mass and media, Literature and many more. Like wise think of every possible stream with your favourite subject. Otherwise you can also aim to target your career with your skills and interests. For example, if you are execllent in drawing then you can choose to study Architecture, fashion designing and many more. Alternatively if you are also creative in nature, then you are best suited for studying arts based subjects like interior decoration, again fashion designing, fashion communications, textile designing, furniture designing and many more.

So identify your interests, skills, strengths, weakness to best understand what career is best suited for you. And please do not forget to take up the psychometric test. Good luck.
