Hello

It is appreciating to see your concern for future but I would like to assure you that no career is tailored for a person. It is only the individual and his interests that shape his/ her career. What subjects did you study at 12th level? I know to know the subjects and only then I can better guide you what degree you can pursue. Else i can only frame my answer only in a more generalised way.

As I am not sure of your subjects in HSC level, I would advice you to take the psychometric assessment from this website. This test will help you to understand you as a person, your abilities, interest, where your focus is, what are your strengths, your weakness and many more. This is a self evaluation test and only taking this test you can understand yourself what you really want to do in future. Other than this, ask yourself certain questions, to help you analyse what you want to do in future.
1. Where do you want to work in future? At an MNC/ Corporate/ manufacturing industries/ educational sector/ pharma companies?
2. Next you should also understand how much you can do to prepare yourself for that career?
3. Then think of your earning potentials or if the industry you want to work is well established already?
4. Think of some activities that you often keep doing. Like are you interested in creative things? If you love doing creative stuff then you are eligible to study fashion designing, interior designing and other graphic designing stuff. If you like exploring new stuff, then you can choose for a scientific career and in this aspect chemistry and physics are the lead. A degree in Chemistry can lead you to invent new medicines and a degree in Physics can lead you to explore the space, if you choose space astronomy. Like wise if you have very good numerical skills then you can choose maths or statistics as your profession.
5. You can also identify your favourite subject and with this you can sketch your career. If your favourite subject is Biology, then you should choose to study BSc/ BTech Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Micro biology, molecular biology, bio chemistry, bio organic chemistry, genetics and many more.

Please spend a few minutes to evaluate your interest, favourite subject, where you want to be in future, your role model. When you think of each of these you can definitely identify your best career choice that well suits you. Most importantly please do not forget to take up the psychometric test. Good luck.
