Hello Dear Aspirant,
Welcome to Career Guide.com
Thanks for approaching us and writing us your career query.
Sorry for the late reply.

My friend i didn't get your question what exactly you wish to ask. You have not mentioned your exact query like whether you want to know when are the admissions for BA or which colleges are there for BA History Hon.

With the assumption that you either have completed your 12th or have been studying 12th i am hereby answering to your question.

In order to take an admission for the BA History Honors course one need to have completed 12th or PUC or course equivalent to 12th from a recognised board from any stream. One who has successfully completed the 12th is eligible to apply for the BA History Honors course.

Here are some of the colleges list offering BA History Honors in India:-
1.Lady Shri Ram College for Women,Delhi University.
2.St.Stephens college,Delhi University.
3.St.Xaviers College,Mumbai University
4.Loyola College,Chennai
5.Christ College,Bangalore
6.Fergusson College,Pune
7.Hansraj College,New Delhi.

These are some of the colleges that offers BA History Course. While the admission process in these colleges start after the announcement of the 12th results. For admission notification you can visit their college websites or can get in touch with the college authorities.

In order to work in the Government sector through UPSC / JPSC one needs to have completed a Graduation degree from any stream from a recognised university. So after completing your BA you get eligible to apply for UPSC or JPSC exam and after clearing any of these you get to make your career in the government sector.

For further details related to these exams you can visit the following links:
1.UPSC- www.upsc.gov.in
2.JPSC- www.jpsc.gov.in

I hope you find this informationrelevant to your career query.
If have any further career queries please contact again.

Wish you Good Luck thumbsup

Thank You

Warm Regards,

Dear Aspirant,

Thanks for writing to us!

Admission to most colleges are closed now. You can try private university or colleges such Amity University, Galgotia University etc. for admission.

You can do graduation through correspondence course from recognized University like IGNOU, Madras University etc.

For Govt jobs, you need to give competitive exams conducted by respective govt department or need to give upsc or state level psc exams. Minimum eligibility criteria is graduation with 55% from recognized university.

Hope I have answered your queries and this information is helpful for you.If you still have queries, feel free to write back.

Best Wishes for your career,
Apurva Kumar Pandya, PhD

Hi There,

I think most of the admissions in colleges are done with.
But never-the-less, why give up hope. Approach few colleges and you can try your luck there. Though you may have to struggle with the course, and pay higher fees, but still it can help to save a year.

To appear for the UPSC exams, please note that you first need to clear your Graduation.
In the meanwhile, you could begin your preparations right away. Get into the habit of reading right from politics to general to any other material you can get your hands onto.
But please note that just reading will not help. You need to be able to articulate it with proper explanation.

Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
