I Am student of bsc(hons)computer science hansraj college du and wants to do MSC computer science from UK. I will complete my graduation in may 2015.i have got 9.6 cgpa in 10th ,93.8 %in 12th(non medical) and 86%in 1st sem,72%in 2nd sem,89% in 3rd sem. I am graduating in may 2015 with a 3years course and want to apply in uk universities?if I dont want to apply in sept 2015 and if I apply in sept 2016 then I will have to drop a year ???? i am taking MCA coaching as a backup if something wrong happened?? ielts coaching will only last till august ,even can be finished before say in july also.after that I am free whole year no coaachings then I can take MCA coaching and prepare for that? if I only depend on foreign and if I could not get in then I will be left with nothing ?so what you say iam right or wrong??? what should I do then ??

OMG! You are super fast in coming up with new set of queries. I appreciate you for following up well with us. But I think you are way too much confused and are also afraid of not securing a place to study in the UK. Okay, please take this sentence as serious as possible. A Delhi University topper can definitely get a place to study in prestigious universities in UK, and yes, you also have high chances to win scholarships. Universities in the UK treat Delhi University as number one from INDIA and if you have even a minimum of 60% from Delhi uni, you will be usually given a place to study. Apart from this, if you hold a Distinction grade from Delhi uni then you have high chances in also securing scholarships.I want to put the above sentence deep into every cell of your mind.

Why do you think you won't find a place to study abroad? I repeat, you have excellent scores that is highly enough to convince academic selectors at UK universities. The only pending thing that you need to work on is getting a passport and writing an IELTS exam. As I said earlier, if you can apply for a passport this mid May, you will get it before 15 June by Tatkal process. Once you have your passport in hand, you can appear for IELTS exam.

Go for IELTS coaching from May to August. This period is long enough to train you well for an IELTS exam. Honestly speaking, two weeks is alone enough to get a decent score in IELTS. As you have almost four months in hand for preparation, I am sure you can surely hit 7.0 or above overall. This score is decent enough to offer you an admission unconditionally. It is up to your capability to rise up your score beyond 7.0 in IELTS.As said, the only thing you need to work on is the IELTS, and nothing else. If you appear for IELTS exam in beginning September, you can get the results by mid September.

In October: spend a month in preparing personal statement, recommendation letters and scanning all the required documents to submit the application. Most universities open applications mid October itself. So start applying from mid Oct 2014 and complete all applications before Nov 30, 2014. So from December 2014 - May 2015, you will have time to apply for scholarships. Select the university that offers you the highest % of scholarship and accept that offer. So you are to fly in Sept 2015 for your MSc in the UK.
Your IELTS preparation actually ends in August and by 10th September, you could have also written IELTS. So from September 2014 to September 2015 spend your time on MCA coaching class. Nothing is clashing out here. You are going to accept an offer only if it convinces you with a scholarship support right? If you get scholarship luckily, go by 2015 intake, if you don't get then make use of the MCA coaching and study in India itself.

But I highly feel, you are capable of winning a place for study with scholarship in the UK and I have also said this to you many times on this forum. Trust and believe in your decisions, it will pull success to you. I understand and also appreciate that you have MCA as the back up but I can confidently assure you that you are sure to secure an MSc admission with scholarship in the UK. So start the necessary process from now. Good luck.
