Dear Aspirant,

Getting selected in IISER Pune is a matter of pride and there are many students who cannot make it to it.

Research definitely have ample of opportunities growth and pay wise. If you are a research oriented person, doing corporate jobs will make you frustrated and lost.

You are also thinking about Medicine as a career. That is also rewarding. From medicine also you can go into research by pursuing PhD after completing your MD in Medicine or any branch of your choice.

I think you need to focus and concentrate on your potential. Doing research always has been the need of India but students do not opt for it due to lack of their perseverance and interests and short term gain mentality.

What your inclination says is important and nothing else. Listen to your heart and go ahead with confidence. Success will follow.

Best wishes
