You have also created a perfect educational background especially studying conflict analysis and peace building at masters level. This degree increases your chance for applying to united nations. Here are some advise you can follow. You can any time register your resume and profile on their employment website and keep tracking on jobs that is applicable to you. Once you see a suitable job for your candidature you can apply for it. Their website is www.careers.un.org

Also please understand that only a degree cannot help in getting a job in united nations. You should increase your chances of being recruited by United nations and for that you should probably find jobs with non-profit organisations or certain NGO's in India that works for conflict analysis and peace building. You can also work for organisations that work for women empowerment, child education, poverty reduction, education for all, dowry abolishment, female infanticide, female ill treatment like rape, mollestation and human rights. You can either plan doing an internship at an NGO or even try working for a full time role. If you have a minimum of two years work experience at an NGO and then apply for a job at United nations then your chances of being hired are high. I know a candidate who did an internship at a non for profit company, help age India and then worked for human rights commission in India for two years after her masters degree and now is selected to work for the United nations. Therefore i advice you to follow this strategy and find a job opportunity.
