Hi,

Thank you for asking this question at CareerGuide. You have done MBA in finance and marketing and you want to work with united nations. You have two and a half year experience also. But you seem to be confused about your career because you want to change your career path.

I think your problem is not your field because you have already worked for two and a half year in this field. Your problem is your salary which you have not expressed openly. Correct me if i am wrong. Your degree in finance is the excellent field in the current scenario , so many students wish to do it but they are not able to.

Introspection is required at this point of life about your own self. You have to understand what you actually want for your self. You are in a very good field , you need not change it .Explore more about it from people in this field.

As far as your desire to work with united states is concerned, you can always go online and explore in Google. There are many sites which have complete information about various careers. You can just go and find out. Meet more and more people who are already doing it. Connect your self on Linked in and connect to people from this field.

You will get complete know how about this field which will help you to decide your future . Hope i have answered your query well, but still if you want to know more you can ask me here again.

ALL THE BEST !!!!!!!!!

Dear Aspirant,

How did you decide that United Nations is where your career lies.

Joining United Nations in any capacity requires extra ordinary academics, skills and capabilities. Do you have them? If yes, definitely you can work for United Nations.

There are internships as well full time jobs with United Nations and their offices in each country and even in India.

I would like to ask, why not work for Indian Government, where you can prove that you can change things for better?

Best wishes
