Firstly I do not understand the importance and relevance of this question?????
If there is an advantage will you go ahead and change boards????
Dear it would be best for you to put in the required efforts in class 12th and as well prepare for the JEE Hotel management tests.
Why are you looking out for shortcuts.
Your work right now is to study, just focus on that and give it your best short.
Mind you CBSE board is the bet board and students from this board are generally well prepared for any kind of entrance exams in the future.
But that does not mean, you rely on the board an not study or put in efforts.
Right now, you being in 10th, I want you to forget about all these questions of benefits and just focus on your preparations.

Changing Boards will not help qualitatively. If that was the case, then everybody in India would have gone to MP Board.
Please do not have such notions and beliefs. There is no short cut to studies and efforts.
Any Board you study in, studying seriously and sincerely is required and through this you can definitely earn good marks and percentage.
Just believe in your own competency and efforts and everything will fall in line smoothly. Do not take tension and do right efforts.

Till previous years, the board which you had appeared from hardly mattered as JEE Main Rank was calculated after normalizing results from different Class XII Boards. Which means that you were not in any disadvantageous state if in case your board awarded lower marks if compared to other boards which took a lenient approach towards their examinees.
But from 2017, criteria has changed and 12th percentage will be used for eligibility purpose only. Rest will depend on your exam scores.

A specific board or institution has got nothing to do your professional JEE exam or future blooming career.
JEE main is for aspiring Engineers in top notch engineering institutes of India. It is actually unbiased with individual board result. Any recognised board result works best if the score is eligible to appear for JEE exam followed by admission session in any renowned & AICTE affiliated Engineering college.
So if you have a passion to become a successful Engineer, may it be in any stream please concentrate on your upcoming 10th Board exam & with an honest & sincere effort complete your 12th board exam with a high percentile as per your strength & potential.
Go for a good training session for JEE in & around your residence locality after you get into 11th standard, not disturbing or avoiding your routine study work.
