The news Reader is the "Face" of a broadcasting agency.
He is the one voice that reaches the masses and the masses are kept well informed.So the Reader plays the most important job in a broadcasting agency.
But as a Reader, you are not just handed over a script that you go on AIR and read.
The groundwork also needs to be done by you.
Though you have team of Reporters, who visit the places and brings in the news to the studio, then there is the Editor team, who would edit the news item according to its relevance, and then comes the show producer, who will take the ultimate decision, to see what goes ON-AIR.
Since as a reader, you need to be completely knowledgeable, so exposure to all the fields is a must.
