HI,

There are many options available in India as well as abroad after your fishery science degree. Rajiv Gandhi center for Aquaculture (RGCA) developed in various locations in India. They have their own research and training center, you can contact them online and find out the procedure.

Fisheries research and training institutions are supported by central and state governments that deserve much of the credit for expansion and improvement in the Indian fishing industry. The principal fisheries research institutions, all of which operate under the Indian council of Agricultural Research are the -

- Central Marine Fisheries Research institute at Kochi Kerala.
- Central Inland Fisheries institute of Barrackpore, West Bengal.
- Central institute of fisheries technology at willingdom Island near Kochi.

Most fishery training is provided by the central institute for fishery education in Mumbai, which has ancillary institutions in Barrackpore, Agra (UP) and Hydrabad (AP). The central fisheries corporation in Calcutta is instrumental in bringing about improvements in fishing methods, ice production, processing , storage, marketing and constructing and repairing fishing vessels.

India is rich in research institutes in fishery. You can explore many more institutions other than the given above on internet and take a final decision. Do not miss on the opportunities available abroad, explore all over the world before settling for the final option.

ALL THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!
