im in final year and im very much tensed about my future how it gonna be...bcoz im confused what to do after btech(ece)..my mind is diverting when i see different kinded people who are opting different streams in their respectives. please help me in choosing right direction for my better future.
Dear FriendI am really surprised to hear this kind of odd statement which has become a general trend for the struggles. First come out from this dilemma and estimate the strength of your subject what you have opted and spent time, effort and money, surprisingly you started to blame the subject. I am not in the favor of changing the stream without any justification as i understand you look for the kind of subject which will help you as per your terms and conditions--impossible for you, and not only you into this category majority are chasing the same illusion and eventually get frustrated as you are right now.You must be understanding my harsh statement which is not meant to discourage you rather I am trying to stimulate your internal spark which has been diffused due to the unrealistic approach of youngsters. Let us talk the practical aspect of your problems, in true sense there is no problem it just your low confidence or due to your misfit into it.I foresee huge potentials in ECE at B.Tech level due to certain implications in industry where you are not interested or did not understand subject. Many opportunities are awaiting for you after BTECH not only in India even at abroad and offshore level too. I think your department is not focusing on placement issue and also not explaining the objectives of course curricula. These are the few reasons excluding your self motivation, and effort.
I never suggest you to switch over the field which will again force you towards the confusion and again you will be in paradox. Until you have missed the real interest and your comfort before taking a bus of ECE only then you can take a risk of changing the stream. If you are really in the same mode then I will suggest you to join any of the following:1. MBA prepare for CAT and then score higher grade and take admission either in IIM or any other institutes at par.2. Explore the other engineering module like Info Tech or similar subject at M.Tech level3. Qualify GRE/GMAT or TOEFL and visit visa Councillors for the job outside India which will give you stimulation in terms of financial gain4. You may join any MNC for the good change and then explore the academic upliftement. For better understanding you can call me directly.Best Dr. Manoj
