Good question but very difficult to answer.

To be succesful in a career grades are not important. Most important is the knowldge and most important is the application of the knowledge that one has got during their course of study.

Also let me make a point clear that the average lots are the ones who put in a little bit of extra efforts to succeed and that whats helpful in the long run.

Apart from being average, what one needs is the interests in a particuklar subkect. Not just selecting a course becauyse as the society says average students must do a BA we opt for it.

Rather having an interets in the particular stream makes wonders happen.
So choose Psychologty only if you are interetsed in helping peope with their usses at hand. But not by being sympathetic. You need to understnd a persons issues to help them but not being symapathetic whereby you also brood with thsat person.

Since Psychology is a mind related subject, one needs to first train their mind before helping others from their issues.

You first need to train yourself that even though you are average, you have a dream and you wish to achieve the dream. Then no one can stop you.

Believe in yourself and then uyou can opt for any stream of study even though you are an average student.

Wish you good luck...
