Thank you for asking. I assume you are a student from non- math background. hence you are a bit sceptical about maths and its relevance in terms of CAT paper.
The good news is Maths for CAT exam si concept based and more on accuracy speed solving in given time frame.
You can take any competitive exam Maths practise book and practise on shortcut for paper and then prepare on Maths topics.
To start with you can take a mock quant paper and test your current level and based on score you can decide whether you want to go ahead with coaching for concept clearing or practise for improving your score.
The idea is to test your basic mathematics problem skills and accordingly help you decide which topics you would like to go ahead in MBA curriculum.
Whatever subject you would choose be it HR, Marketing, Operations, Finance would have maths involved. Hence you would be able to tackle/grasp those subject easily as you would start to study, given your inclination to study.
Please do not stress and overthink. You should start to study and practise on your maths concepts and then accordingly you can prepare and improve on your score. All management entrance exams have basic maths in written exams level may vary be it MAT/CAT/XAT/SNAP etc.
Hence, the earlier you start to practise the better leverage you will get at time of exam.

Good question asked.
Please note that all competitive exams tests just your basic concepts or ability. Thus in terms of Math if you understand the basic concepts then CAT would not be an issue for you.
Best would be to go to any coaching centre and take a mock test. You will understand for yourself the level at which the questions are asked and what is expected from you.
Please note you may know a concept and can find a solution by following step by step method. But competitive exams are objective based and time based test. So knowing concepts and knowing shortcuts is essential. For that you need to build on your reasoning capacity and learn shortcuts from coaching classes.
