The scope of the interior designers depends on a number of factors and that will determine whether it is better in India or a country like USA. You need to go through the below mentioned points in order to understand the difference in these two cases and hence the scope of this field.

1. The salary of an average interior designer is more in a country like USA compared to India. This is because there is more demand of the interior designers while in India it is still an emerging field. Though the people are shifting to it but it is a slow process and therefore will take some time before you find ample opportunities in India. For the time being when it comes to money you will get huge sums in USA not so in India.

2. In a developed country like USA where interior designing is an important part of the house designing, there is a plenty of scope to do creative things and do experiments in your work. In India on the other hand you will have to stick to the basic interior designing. There is not much room available to do the experiments and hence bring out the creative genius in you.

3. The educational qualifications requirement is very strict in a country like USA whereas this is quite lenient in India. While working abroad you need to have the right degrees behind you while in India a simple interior designing course will be enough to get you a job. But again the salary difference will be huge in the two cases.

Keeping these factors in mind you can decide where you want to work. Please note that in case you want to work abroad you need to first get the work permit and the required visa for that which is often not an easy task. Second thing is that the interior designing concept is still emerging in India and will be a growing field in the coming few years. So it's not that bad as it may first appear. Because if you get established here then you will earn a lot once the industry gets matured enough.

Scope of Interior Designing is more in USA rather than India. That's why many students go abroad after completing a degree in it. Because pay scale is also more as compare to India in Australia. You will get many tasks in australia or projects in Interior Designing. Economy of that country is big rather than India. So from all perspective USA is quite better than India.

India is a developing nation. Here you will get work undoubtedly with a high paid salary. But that would be less as compare to USA. You can take a degree in Interior Design Courses.
