Hi MBA is a degree course which can be only awarded by any UNIVERSITY. Whereas PGDM is diploma courses offered by institutes. As per UGC rule only a University can award degree. But PGDM of top institutes like IIM's , ISB and others are equivalent to MBA degree.
In order to post replies to the question: "Is there any difference between MBA and PGDM?/ and is there any rule that the candidate who will score above 90% in CAT will get MBA and below that will get PGDM?"
