Yes, you can get direct admission in engineering college/university under sports quota, but for that you should have some certifications of your state that shows that you have participated in state level sports. In India every state and central GOVT. University have sports quote for engineering and general stream too. Some university takes sports quota directly without any interview or written exam. Some of the university does their own exam for sports quota. Some of the university takes only viva voice for sports quote. Some of university follows their main rule and just set the cut off marks low then other student for sports quota.
You need to check the eligibility and procedure colleges/universities follow in your state.
i am a taekwondo player ........participate 2 times in national and 3 times medalist in state ............... i want to do engineering with sports quota .....plz suggest any university
