For under graduate education, there is a very rare work integrated courses. Under graduate courses do have internships and projects which give you the real industry experience if you do it genuinely and seriously instead of the majority of them doing just copy paste work.
I however appreciate your inclination to make your education more of a learning experience.
For a course like Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA), I would suggest you to concentrate on the theoritical and technical knowledge in the course. Scoring good percentage at the under graduate level is also very important. BCA being an introduction to the Computer, IT world, later on it is a must for you to do post graduation like MCA to become employable and domain expert.
While doing BCA, it is important for you to master the fundamentals of the domain on which your future career will depend. Doing your internal projects and internships with genuinity and trust are very important.
