There are various options and opportunities for the post graduate candidates. You need to decide first that in which field you want to go for.
If you are interested in teaching or research you can go for the assistant professor or junior research fellowship in research. CSIR NET exam is organized twice a year for the selection or lectureship and JRF. There is no age limit for lectureship but max 28 years for JRF. The post graduate can apply for CSIR NET exam.
The CSIR NET exam 2019 is scheduled on 15th December and the CSIR NET admit card is already out for the same.
After qualifying the NET exam you will be eligible to apply for assistant professor in universities or institutes, scholarships, or fellowship awards, lab associates, counselors, researchers or scientists, pubblish a research papers, or get a job in govt office or PSUs. You will be eligible to apply for higher studies like PhD.
If we talk about the salary, the assistant professor earns a decent salary from 35-60 K according to the institute and your achievements. If you have knowledge and background of Geography, Geology, Climatology, Meteorology, Urban Planning, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Water Resource Management etc, then you can avail the opportunity to get huge package.
