Its good to hear that yo have been aspiring to make a career in the field of CA. CA is one of the prestigious career.CA is a professional who handles the accounting and auditing ; taxation issues of the companies and individuals.As the Industries and salaries are increasing of the people its giving a rise for the requirement of skilled certified CA professionals.Every year in India there is requirement of 50,000 CA professionals. If we see the demand is high but supply is less. So there is a wide scope for the students aspiring to have a great career in this field.
In order to apply for CA earlier students were needed to registed with ICAI institute when they are in 11th of their college while after appearing for 12th board exam the candidate has to follow the following steps in order to complete the CA-1.Commmon Proficiency Test (CPT) After 12th exam.2.On successfully completing CPT exam candidate gets eligible to appear for the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) Group I and II and after completing these both the groups one has to go for 3 years internship and had to complete IT Training .3.After completing IPCC groups;Internship and IT training one gets eligible for CA Final Course and after completing this course one becomes a certified CA from ICAI institute.
The above steps were supposed to be followed by all aspiring candidates;but now there has been changes like a commerce graduate scoring minimum 55% gets eligible to apply for IPCC course instead going for CPT course of CA.As you have been completing your BAF make sure that you score 55% in your graduation than you get an direct entry for IPCC course. From IPCC course the steps are same as discussed above to become CA. Register yourself with ICAI institute to your nearby ICAI Chapter.
