Hi,

You are moving in two boats you know. To complete the journey you need to sail in one boat. I will explain openly if you did not get me. See you are doing MBBS , but you hate hospitals , at the same time you respect MBBS , but you don't like some clinical subjects like Anatomy.

On the other hand your passion is Biotechnology , but you fear bad placement and lack of job opportunities, now you are worried that if i follow my passion i will have to waste one year of my life , at the same time you are thinking that it would be a blind mistake to follow your passion.

So many doubts are there in your mind about your career. First of all let me tell you some thing which you can keep with you for whole of your life, dear build up your confidence about your thinking. This is possible by using your subconscious mind, if you want you can read the book ' The power of subconscious mind' by Jeophry Morgan. It will help you take your decisions with clarity.

You are a very intelligent person i must say, have you seen majority of students getting through these entrance tests for MBBS ever ? No, there are very few students who get through such tests. Its ok if you do not want to continue with MBBS. You can change your career.

One should always follow his passion when selecting a career , because it is a life long commitment . Since its your passion to be a scientist , you should go after that only. Do not think that it will waste one year of your life. It will be a right decision, don't worry about that. Be on one side of your decision rather than hanging in the middle and reaching nowhere .

You are a brave person and you take good decisions always, just move ahead with this thought in your mind and expect good things to happen in your life.

I hope my answer will help you move ahead with full confidence and take the right decision about your career.

ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
