Due toi the widespread awareness about mental health issues, masses have now started taking notices about minor issues and are asking for help from professionals.
Thus we see the role of a counselor has expanded from the regular hospitals or clinics to corporate to school to colleges to sports to management etc. Hence these days we hear of special camps conducted for stress or depression etc.
Thus your sister after graduation, has to pursue a masters degree in Psychology. Can choose any specialisations from Clinical to couseling to social to industrial to guidance and counseling.
Also besides a degree in therapy after a masters degree, it would be good if she gets various other certifications like NLP, Hypnosis, Play therapy, etc. So that alll forms of treatment are provided under one roof.
