Need to talk

Hello my name is Priya. I am currently studying MSc in the UK from the University of Greenwich. I have come here on education loan and the UK viza rules have changed. I will return back next year after my course finishes. I want to come back to India. However i am nervous about how life will be after coming back. What are the job oppurtunities in India? though my family is capable of funding my education i want to come back and work and repay the loan by myself. what are the chances of finding good employment? I am not liking it here in the UK. The students here have the aims of working here itself and earn lots of money. i don't think like them. i want to come back and live and work in my homeland. Please help.

Hello Priya,

What is the subject of your MSc?
I think going for a doctorate and then return india is a better option.

Hi Priya,

I do admire your though that you wish to be independent and wish to be capable of repaying your study loan all by yourself.

Please note that opportunities in India are immense depending on the specialization you have opted for.

Secondly, since M.Sc is mainly a Research oriented profile, though India does have research potentials but the provisions like space, materials or rather technology used are still a constraint.
Research in India is good under two areas Biotechnology and Pharmacy.

So though you would get an opportunity in India, you would have to frequent abroad for your Research work.

So since you are abroad, take a calculated decision and then decide whether you wish to move out or not.

Better get in touch with friends or colleagues at India and who are associated with the work or study you are doing and then take a decision.
Ultimately we study for work and money satisfaction.
So its alright to be money oriented.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck.................
