You can always do something different from others, this makes you stand apart among the crowd. By doing something different, you may act as a role model for many people but being from the field of commerce, BBA is a good option. Just because numerous students are opting for BBA, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. BBA is a trendy course these days.This degree aims at providing fundamental education in business and management principles.

This general management courses covers basic topics like HR management, organizationalbehavior, business communication, accounting, retail management, and supply chain. If you really want to do something different, you can do side by side. There are many short courses you can opt for while dong BBA such as Event Management, Mass Communication, Animation, English Speaking Course, going for this will also make you different from others, also this will enhance your skills to become a better professional.

BBA is a good option in many ways; you should go for BBA even if everyone is doing it. You may do a job if you are getting a good placement with a desired salary package then you should definitely take that job. If you want to do further study then you can take a master’s degree. MBA is the best master’s degree to take after completing BBA. You can also take exams such as Bank exams, defense exams, civil services exams like IAS, IPS etc.

You can start up your own business if you have a good idea and a good team to work with. There are many companies nowadays that are funding start-ups. Another option can be to do CA, you can invest your precious time in studying in order to crack it and become a Charted Accountant. If you have no idea why you did BBA, you can learn a new language. It will help you if you are planning to move abroad. You can take a TOEFL or ILETS exam.

You can take home tuitions; you can guide students about entrance test and teach them BBA subjects etc. This is an easy and good way to make money.You can also apply for jobs in railway and for other government’s jobs. You can even work in tourism sector as well as in medical sector if you choose tourism sector you get the advantage of traveling while working. Other than taking up an office job, BBA graduates may also choose the path of entrepreneurship.

Other options are:

  • You can do some professional courses like ICWAI, CA, etc
  • You can join a firm and go for MBA correspondence
  • Can get jobs in different sectors like human resources, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, etc.
  • Masters in TourismManagement
  • Bachelor of Education (B.ED)

All this will help you to get better job opportunities.

Scope of BBA: BBA gets you entry-level positions in many corporations and factories. BBA degree opens more job opportunities than any other degree. BBA graduates can look for jobs in sales and marketing department of companies as members of sale teams or as management trainees. After completing BBA, you should consider broadening your horizon in order to qualify for top executive positions and promotions.

BBA graduates may work as management professionals in many sectors. Corporate houses, MNCs, NGOs, educational institutes, healthcare setups, government organizations, finance institutes etc are known to recruit BBA graduates. The list of recruiters could go on and on, management professionals are needed by many firms.

BBA graduates may take up any of the following job posts-

  • Associate
  • Assistant manager
  • HR Manager
  • Banker
  • Trader
  • Research Assistant
  • Analyst
  • Operations Manager
  • Office Assistant
  • Executive
  • Auditing Assistant
  • Finance and accounts manager

Minimum and maximum salary in this field: Salary depends on many factors. It depends on the organization where you are seeking employment, its stock, value, your job position, your educational qualification and your caliber.

  • Fresher student will get a salary between 8000 -10000.
  • The experience candidates can make rupees 12,000 – 18,000 every month.

This is with reference on completing BBA, and if you pursue master’s your starting salary will be around 20,000 – 30,000.
