Hello Naveen,

A Occupational therapist is mainly considered as a rehabilitation specialist. They are mainly into handling issues related to physical issues especially limbs and spine issues. They carter to all age groups like children, infants, adults and old age too.

They mainly deal with cases related to accidents where there is a loss of limb, or an artificial limb functioning, finger or dexterity movement, sitting straight etc.

One can pursue either a Diploma or a bachelors in OT. Eligibility being 12th, PCB pass. Some colleges have entrance exam as their admission criteria.

After a B.Sc, you can opt for an M.Sc, whereby you specialise in any one area of OT.

Wish you good luck...

I think that a career as an occupational therapist can be pretty rewarding. The fact that you would always know how to prevent neck pain is exactly why I would want to be an occupational therapist. It serves as a great idea
