Hi,Both the courses are in Economics only...... so its really dose not matter what you do....I am sure you are very much passionate about Economics and that is why you have decided on the two courses and hence you are confused about it. This is a very common confusion of students who are aspiring to become future Economists...As far as BBE or Bachelors in Business economics is concerned it is more related to linking economics to the business world. it will focus more on building up your skill as it is purely a skill based course. As far as BA in Economics is concerned it is more hard core related to economics and you will have to study different subjects in economics. You will study more of theoretical subjects and hardly any practical exposure will be given to you.if you are aiming to settle for a job quickly then BBE is definitely a good option but if you are interested in becoming and Economist and study a hard core Economics subjects then go for BA Hons in Economics.

Business Economics and Economics as a course are same at an under graduate level. It matters only at the stage of post graduation that you need to choose a specialisation in the Economics area. And I must say that post graduation is a must nowadays to increase your employability.
If you can manage to do MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Madras School of Economics, Gokhale Institute of Economics, Symbiosis School of Economics, then you stand a very good chance of having more than wonderful career in economics.
