The procedure for admission into any B-School, whether IIM or any other remains the same.
Easy as it sounds.
But in terms of CAT, you need to score a good percentile, to be specific amongst the top 5, to get a call from all the IIM's.
Be knowledgeable about all topics right from politics to history to current affairs etc. Not just information, but being able to articulate it is very important. Also while in a group discussion, helping the entire team get a chance is important.
In terms of Personal Interview, get ready with the basic questions always asked. Answer with confidence is the only thing I can suggest.

CAT, GD and PI are the three stages through which you have to go to get an admission to the IIMs in India.
CAT is online test and then based on the percentile you will get call from IIMs for GD and PI. GD and PI are the determining factors for your final selection to the IIM, so just having the percentile is not enough.
