Regarding my career opportunity in data analyst job

Dear sir, i am working as a data analyst in a company. but I have many doubts on my career please help me. I am working here for almost 3 years and I have done mca in 2013. so please tell me which field I can move forward.. and I want to know can I move as a experienced or as a fresher. please tell me.

I suppose you are working as a Data Analysts, then I am sure you understand what the job is all about.


Data Analysts is all about managing the data and preparing it in a way that when required, just one glance and the person gets all the information.
As such your job is the most important job profile, as everyone would be depending on you for their filing and getting data.
As such here you would require good analytic skills, computer skills and high statistical knowledge.

Your course in MCA is quite different from your current job profile. MCA is more into managing the software and its applications and networking. Its mainly into the application of the systems and managing them during troubleshooting or a breakdown.
Or when the system needs upgradation.
So you could choose which field you wish to be in. Both the jobs Data Analysts as well as Computer Applications are very much in demand., as they are universally accepted jobs. Meaning every organization would employ both the people.

If you wish to stick to data Analysts job, then you may need to upgrade yourself; in terms of knowledge of the systems, Get yourself SAP certified. This will not only increase your knowledge but also ease out your work and would give you a rise in salary.
